AGAINST MODERN FOOTBALL

German terrace culture is more than backing your own club. Ultras, Casuals and Kutten shape the stands, each group in its own way. That includes away days, long nights in the pub and the resistance against the commercialisation of the game.

Cross-league relegation play-offs, reserve teams in professional football, blanket punishments from the associations. Much of it is not discussed loudly, yet it changes the game all the same. Wearing our clothing also shows where you stand: Against modern football.

HOW IT CAME ABOUT

From the first idea to the finished collection, it was not a straight line. A scrapped production run, samples that went back three times, half a year of work for nothing. We wrote it down the way it was.

QUALITY FEATURES

What goes into the pieces

Our Hoodies and Zippers are made from brushed Heavy Cotton. That is a serious weight for a sweat piece, and you notice it before you even put it on. The ribbing at hem, collar and cuffs is knitted from the same heavy material and keeps its shape, even when a piece is worn and washed often.

Branding stays understated. Instead of big chest prints we work with woven patches and embroidery, and at the neck sits a woven label instead of a printed one. Even the buttons on the polo carry our logo.

For us, black is always the same black. The shade is fixed for every piece, which is why hoodie, jacket and polo truly work side by side.

No piece is a bought-in blank with a logo on top. For every product we developed our own template, and it went back and forth several rounds until it was truly right.

We run sizes from S to 6XL. Every single size needs its own pattern, which makes development more involved and production more expensive. We still think it is the right call, because the stands are not filled with size M only.
